Shipping & Delivery
Every Amanda Era piece is cut and sewn in small batches at our studio in Hanoi, Vietnam, then folded and packed by hand before it sets off to you. Here is exactly what happens after you place an order — what shipping costs, how long it takes, and who to talk to if something looks wrong.
All in, most orders reach their destination about 2–3 weeks after you order if you are in the United States, and about 3–4 weeks for Europe, Asia, Oceania and our other destinations.

A note on two-piece orders: a few heavier styles — especially our 100% linen pieces and the Lucia dress — may move your parcel into the next weight tier, so the final rate can be slightly higher. Your checkout will always show the exact figure before you pay.
If your country is not listed, send us an email or message us on Instagram before ordering. We will check the current courier route and quote you a shipping cost.
From our studio to your door
- Order placed. You will see a confirmation screen right away, and a confirmation email arrives shortly afterward.
- Order preparation — 3 to 5 business days. Your pieces are checked, pressed and packed by hand. Orders that include a pre-order piece take 7 to 10 business days; see below.
- Handover to our shipping partner — about 1 business day. Your package leaves our studio in Hanoi and is dispatched internationally.
- Tracking — within 1 to 2 business days of dispatch. We email you a tracking number and a tracking link. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder before writing to us.
- Delivery. Estimated times per region are below.

Please allow a few extra days around Lunar New Year, Christmas and other peak periods. We announce studio closures on Instagram before they happen.
Customs, duties and taxes
The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Import duties and taxes are covered by Amanda Era, so you should not be asked for anything extra when your package arrives.
Customs rules for international packages can change, and on rare occasions a carrier may still bill the recipient by mistake. If a carrier or customs authority asks you to pay an import charge, please contact us with the official notice first. If payment is required to release your package, keep the receipt and we will refund the charge in full.
Pre-order pieces
Some styles are sewn to order rather than kept in stock. If your order includes a pre-order piece, it is still being made, so preparation takes 7 to 10 business days instead of the usual 3 to 5, and the whole order is shipped together once every item is ready. In practice that adds about a week to the delivery estimates above.
If you would like to know the expected date for a particular piece, or you would rather have your in-stock items sent on ahead, email us before you order. Additional shipping charges may apply when in-stock and pre-order items are sent as two separate packages, and we will always tell you the cost before anything is sent.
If your tracking stops updating
International packages often sit without a scan for several days while they move between the export hub and your national postal service. This is normal and your package is usually still on its way.
If your tracking has not moved for 10 business days, or the estimated window above has passed, email us your order number at contact@amandaera.com and we will follow up with our shipping partner.
Wrong address or a package that cannot be delivered
Please check your name, street address, postal code and phone number carefully before you pay — once a package has left Vietnam we cannot change the address.
If a package is lost by the carrier and the address you gave was correct, we refund your order in full, including the shipping fee. If it cannot be delivered because the address was wrong, delivery was refused, or it went unclaimed, we refund the value of the items once the package comes back to our studio; the original shipping fee is not refundable in that case.
